| You're not the first one to report it. I'll look into it. |

| Just a quick question, did you do a clean install (e.g. uninstall the old version and delete all of the .dat files). |

Short answer no.
I have tried to reproduce the problem on my Win2K and WinXP machines. I just can't.
What system setup are you running? (Sorry if I have already asked). |

And still nothing obvious jumps out.
I will hunt and kill this elusive bug if it's the last thing I do!!! |

hi, out of interest, just had to format my machine and still have the same problem, have been reading up and all the things i've rad on the error seem to be related to the time/date format (region) issue on each users computer?
hope you are able to track it down...
thanks |

That could make sense. I've only tested the software in UK timezone settings.
But the code that does the time checking has not been changed since the first release. I'll have a look. |

It's not all gone quiet. I have started writing a new version of the silence detector but it will not be finished soon due to exams.
I am also looking to fix the problem in the current version (I'm currently testing a possible fix). |

This silence monitoring program could be used with music servers running audio program streams such as DI.fm.
Music servers and computer based music playback is becoming much more common and will continue to grow. When a program stream is dropped the detector could run a PLS file (shell connected to a player) and restart the stream unattended. Unfortunately the RUN ERROR mentioned in this thread hasn't been fixed after all this time. --- It's too bad. --- There's nothing else around like this program. I spent quite a bit of time today Googling for silence detection and triggering programs and this is the only program I found. |
